Las Vegas plans a vote party at City Hall on Election Day.

The city will run the event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at 495 S. Main St. It will serve free ice cream and hand out showgirl "I voted" stickers. City Hall polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. that day, and the location also accepts mail ballots.

City Hall has served as an early voting site from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Thursday. The site will not open for early voting Friday, Saturday or Sunday. It will still take ballot drop-offs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on those three days, the city said. Other Clark County early voting sites remain open through Friday, according to the Clark County Election Department.

The city of Las Vegas is offering qualifying homeowners 62 and older up to $5,000 for home modifications such as grab bars, comfort-height toilets, tub cuts, handheld showerheads, temporary ramps, handrails, D-shaped cabinet handles, accessible faucets and removal of tripping hazards. Applicants must own and live in the home as their primary residence, and household income must stay below 80% of the area median income. The city said the current cap is $76,150 for a household of four and $53,350 for a single occupant. A U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development grant funds the program. Kesher opened in August with a Hebrew dual-language program and plans to add a grade each year through eighth grade. The Henderson City Council approved the school in August 2025 under a 2023 state law that let cities authorize charter schools.

The first Día de los Muertos 5K steps off at 9 a.m. Sunday at Cristo Rey St. Viator College Preparatory, 2880 N. Van Der Meer St. in North Las Vegas.
