LL Cool J will headline an 11-performance residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM starting in 2027. The production, titled 'Rock the Bells: The Residency,' kicks off on Saturday, May 15.
A release shared Thursday details the live show as a mix of storytelling, musical hits, and special guest appearances. The narrative traces hip-hop from its origins in New York to its status as a global movement. The performance features the rapper, DJs, and production elements designed to cover the genre's history.
The release notes that specific guest artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
"Hip-Hop started in a few neighborhoods in New York, and now it belongs to the whole world," LL Cool J said. "Rock The Bells celebrates everybody who was part of that story. This isn’t me doing a show in Vegas. It’s all of us. Artists from different generations and different genres, sharing one stage, for fans who were there at the beginning and kids hearing it for the first time. People from all over the world come to Vegas to celebrate, so this show belongs here."
Tickets go on sale Monday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster. The May 2027 dates are the 15th, 16th, 19th, 21st, and 22nd. The July 2027 dates are the 9th, 10th, 11th, 14th, 16th, and 17th. All shows are scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
