Miami and Notre Dame will play on Saturday in South Bend, Ind., for the second consecutive year. The matchup is currently listed as the centerpiece of the Week 10 college football schedule. Both teams are undefeated, and the result may impact their positioning for the College Football Playoff.

In 2025, Miami defeated Notre Dame 27-24 in Week 1. That loss to the Hurricanes effectively ended Notre Dame’s playoff run, despite the Irish being rated as a top-three team by the betting market before selection day. Miami advanced to the national championship game, where they lost to Indiana 27-21.

This season, betting markets have shifted in favor of the Irish. Notre Dame is currently a 6.5-point favorite in Las Vegas, a similar trajectory to last season when they started as underdogs before becoming favorites. Miami is 6-point underdogs for the rematch, with the over/under set at 58 points.

Three players from the two teams are among the top five contenders for the Heisman Trophy. Miami quarterback Darian Mensah is listed at +160 odds, meaning a $100 bet would yield a $160 profit. Miami wide receiver Malachi Toney is 3-to-1, and Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr is 13-to-1. Mensah and Toney are playing in their home state for the first time since the 2025 season.

The betting line for this game has moved since opening. The spread initially opened shorter than the current 6.5 points in Notre Dame’s favor. Analysts note that Miami has shown defensive flaws this season, while Notre Dame is considered the more complete team. The Irish are expected to be locked in for the rematch.

Other Week 10 games include Texas at Missouri, where Texas is a 2.5-point favorite. The over/under for that game is 44 points. In the SEC, Alabama plays at LSU as a 5.5-point underdog, with the total set at 52.5 points. LSU is the pick for those prioritizing recent results, while Alabama is chosen for upside.

Oregon travels to Ohio State as a 7.5-point underdog. Ohio State lost 30-18 to USC last week as 6.5-point favorites without injured quarterback Julian Sayin. The over/under for the Oregon game is 48.5 points. Kentucky plays at Tennessee as a 6-point underdog, with the total set at 50 points.

In the Big 12, Texas A&M is a 7.5-point underdog at South Carolina. South Carolina has won three straight games and is projected to cover the spread. The over/under is 52 points. In the Big Ten, Nebraska is a 5-point favorite at Illinois, with the total set at 49.5 points. Illinois has won three straight games and returned injured quarterback Katin Houser to the lineup.

The full slate of Week 10 games includes 72 contests. Betting records for the season stand at 251-246-5. The line for the Miami-Notre Dame game is the most volatile of the week, reflecting the high stakes and public interest in the rematch between the two previous national runners-up.
