Las Vegas hotels recorded a decline in occupancy and room rates in September, even as the total number of visitors to the city remained nearly flat. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority released these figures in its September 2026 executive summary.

The data shows an estimated 3,097,200 visitors arrived in September, a 0.2% increase over the same month in 2025. Convention attendance rose 1.8% to 436,200. However, hotel occupancy dropped 0.5 percentage points to 78.1%. The average daily rate for a hotel room fell 6.3% to $178.63.
