Residents of North Las Vegas are being asked to examine surveillance video from early this week as part of an ongoing homicide investigation. The North Las Vegas Police Department released the footage on Nov. 4 to help identify four specific individuals who may have knowledge of a shooting that occurred just after midnight on Nov. 2. The incident resulted in one fatality and two additional injuries in the area surrounding West McDonald Avenue.

Officers responded to the 1800 block of West McDonald Avenue shortly after 12 a.m. on Nov. 2. They found two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds at that location. A third victim was located nearby in the vicinity of Juanita Circle and Carey Avenue. Medical personnel assessed the condition of the victims at the scene. Police stated that one victim sustained life-threatening injuries, while another was described as stable. The third victim later died.

The department is focusing its efforts on identifying the four people shown in the released video. These individuals are walking along a sidewalk in the footage. Detectives believe they may possess relevant information regarding the incident. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting as of the latest update. The investigation remains open, and detectives are working to establish the identities of the persons of interest through public recognition.

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the individuals in the video to contact the North Las Vegas Police Department at 702-633-9111. For those wishing to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers of Nevada offers an alternative channel for reporting. Residents can call 702-385-5555 or submit tips online. The department hopes that local residents will be able to recognize the faces in the surveillance clip and provide details that will help detectives move the case forward.

The shooting took place in the early morning hours, a time when foot traffic is typically lower. The locations of the two initial victims and the third victim were distinct but in close proximity to one another. The area around Juanita Circle and Carey Avenue was part of the initial search zone. The release of the video marks a public stage in the investigation, shifting from internal detective work to community involvement. The police department continues to treat the case as a serious matter requiring specific identification of these four individuals.

The surveillance video shows the four subjects walking together. Their movement along the sidewalk is the key visual element provided to the public. The department has not specified the exact duration of the clip or the precise time of day the footage was captured beyond the general timeframe of the incident. The focus remains on facial recognition and context clues that viewers might observe. The phone numbers provided for tips are monitored by the department to ensure quick follow-up on leads. This approach is standard in cases where no suspects have yet been formally booked.
