Henderson voters reelected Mayor Michelle Romero for a second term on Tuesday, according to unofficial results.

Romero received 63,044 votes, securing 60.59% of the total. Her opponent, former Henderson Police Chief Hollie Chadwick, received 41,004 votes, or 39.41%. The Associated Press called the race with approximately 80% of the vote counted.

Chadwick entered the race after the city dismissed her from her position as police chief in 2025. Romero had previously finished with 49.75% of the vote in the June primary, narrowly missing an automatic advancement to the general election.

In North Las Vegas, Daniele Monroe-Moreno was elected mayor, defeating City Councilman Scott Black. Monroe-Moreno garnered 37,464 votes, representing 58.05% of the total. Black received 27,076 votes, or 41.95%. If these results hold, Monroe-Moreno will succeed Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown, who is unable to seek reelection due to term limits.

Monroe-Moreno is a Democrat who served in the state Assembly representing North Las Vegas starting in 2016. She currently chairs the state Democratic Party. Black has served Ward 3 on the City Council since 2017 and acts as mayor pro tem. The Nevada Independent reported that Black outspent Monroe-Moreno significantly, though she led him 47% to 42% in the June primary. The mayoral office is nonpartisan.

City council races in both cities also concluded. In Henderson Ward III, Jennifer Atlas defeated incumbent Carrie Cox with 13,490 votes against 9,429. Cox, who was first elected in 2022, faced a felony indictment in 2025 for monitoring a private conversation and pleaded not guilty. The council censured her in November 2025. In North Las Vegas Ward 1, Esmeralda Villeda defeated Sherry Strothers with 5,930 votes to 3,278. Both candidates are real estate agents and first-time officeholders, competing for the seat of term-limited Councilman Isaac Barron.

Other Clark County races showed mixed results. In Las Vegas City Council Ward 2, Shannon Nordstrom led Luke McCarthy by 141 votes, with 15,307 votes to 15,166. The winner will replace Kara Kelley, who took office in September 2025 after Victoria Seaman resigned. In the open Clark County Commission District F seat, Democrat Minja Yan was winning with 53.47% of the vote against Republican Heidi Kasama and independent Becky Harris. Commissioner Jim Gibson won reelection in District G with 61.34% of the vote.

Boulder City Mayor Joe Hardy won reelection with 76.56% of the vote. In Mesquite, Ronald Shackelford and Dominic W. Oliveto led their respective council races. Clark County election officials will continue counting mail ballots postmarked on or before Election Day throughout the week. Voters with signature problems on mail ballots have until 5 p.m. Monday to correct them, with 3,618 ballots pending as of 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
