The Los Angeles Times has released its 2026 holiday gift guide featuring 167 specific recommendations.

The publication, dated November 1, 2026, presents a curated list intended to assist residents with holiday shopping.

The guide was compiled by a team of journalists who selected, tested, and explored the items included.

The recommendations cover a wide range of categories. These include locally made goods, kitchen supplies for home chefs, and memorable local experiences.

The list also features stocking stuffers aimed at both kids and adults.

An expanded section directs readers to gift shops within Los Angeles County.

This portion is designed for shoppers who prefer local businesses over online orders.

Marques Harper, the deputy features editor, stated that the team is there to help whether shopping feels daunting or exciting.

The project involved extensive coordination. Brittany Levine Beckman served as the entertainment and features editor.

Harper edited the gift guide, while Betty Hallock edited the food list.

A group of writers contributed to the content. These included Lisa Boone, Stephanie Breijo, and Kailyn Brown.

The design team included Faith Stafford as senior deputy design director and Avery Fox as art director and digital producer for the guide section of the credits list, though the source lists Avery Fox in both roles, Faith Stafford was the senior deputy design director, and Avery Fox was the gift guide art director and digital production lead. Kaitlin Brito created the illustrations. Kim Chapin directed photography, with Taylor Arthur serving as photo editor. Jason Armond and Rebecca Peloquin took the photographs. Blake Hennon and Jason Sanchez handled copy editing. Michael Darling fact-checked the material. Riya Chopra, Defne Karabatur, and David Viramontes managed audience engagement. An editors note states that prices and availability are subject to change. It also notes that the Times may be compensated if readers make purchases through specific links. Some listed websites may use location-based pricing.
