Zoox has become the official autonomous ride-hail partner for the Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix. The company and Las Vegas Grand Prix Inc. announced a multi-year deal on Thursday. The agreement ties the robotaxi service directly to the Formula 1 event in Clark County.

Under the new arrangement, Zoox will run activations across Las Vegas during race week. The companies also outlined specific plans for future operations. Zoox intends to provide rides to and from Grand Prix Plaza beginning in 2027. That service will feature a dedicated zone for pickup and drop-off.

Carly Wyatt, vice president of experience, communications and marketing at Zoox, described the vehicle as designed around the rider. "Our purpose-built robotaxi was designed around the rider to make getting around more seamless, comfortable, and enjoyable," Wyatt said. She noted that the partnership connects engineering innovation with the city's energy.

Brendan Dolby, vice president of commercial at Las Vegas Grand Prix Inc., said the deal is meant to last beyond the race weekend. "Together, we have an opportunity to showcase the future of mobility on a global stage while building a partnership that extends well beyond race week," Dolby said. He emphasized that Formula 1 has always served as a platform for new technology.

The announcement noted that Zoox already works with the Atlassian Williams F1 Team. This new deal expands that relationship to the Las Vegas event. The company will be present throughout the week leading up to and following the race.

The partnership was made public on Thursday. Zoox will be visible in the city during the upcoming race week. The 2027 shuttle service remains the next major operational step for the autonomous fleet in the region.
