Construction crews are finalizing the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix course ahead of the November 19-21 race weekend.
The track layout includes sections along Harmon Avenue, Koval Lane, and the Las Vegas Strip. F1 officials confirmed that the vehicle bridges at Audrie and Top Golf are complete. Lighting work on Harmon Avenue will continue for the next few days. Overnight lane closures are in effect on that street, while all lanes remain open during daytime hours.
Traffic conditions changed on Koval Lane near the Flamingo intersection. A temporary vehicle bridge is now in place at the corner with Flamingo Road. This area has seen traffic backups for drivers heading north. The pit building and grandstands are located along this segment of the route.
Work progressed at different speeds near the Sphere and Sands Avenue. Track lighting and barriers are finished near the Sphere. Crews are actively building grandstands just up the road from that location. On Sands Avenue, lighting is complete, but barriers are still being installed. Overnight closures on Sands will continue until October 30.
The long straightaway on the Strip remains a focus for upcoming days. Track lighting work will continue until October 30. Overnight lane closures apply on this section, with one lane open in each direction. All existing lanes stay open during the day. Cars will reach speeds of 200 mph on this stretch past Caesars Palace and the Bellagio grandstands during the race.
